Educational and creative projects can be challenging. I am here to help you. My name is Dr. John Wallen--but just call me Dr. John. I have been many things in my life: teacher, professor, musician, writer and poet. I can help you achieve your dreams. I know that everybody who is gifted with the urge to express themselves creatively begins with a spark that just needs a little help or advice to ignite into a flame. I can provide that impetus. If you are a creative writer of stories, drama or poems I can help you develop your ideas in the best and most creative ways. There are also critical analyses there of many famous poems and if you are a college student with questions about a text on your syllabus, I can help you too.

Dr. John's long poem THE MIRACLE about Eastern religions, the sanctity of truth, and the difference between faith and unfaith, is here read by the author himself. Deeply serious in its essence, THE MIRACLE, despite its profound theme of spiritual quest, is often light and ironic in mood and tone. THE MIRACLE is a poem for our time.

Committed to Excellence
Dr. John has worked as a teacher and university professor of literature for more than 20 years. He is also a published writer of poetry, novels and short stories. For a time he worked as a singer-songwriter under the pseudonym 'Jon Aristides'. This is a name he also used to pen three collections of short stories.
Dr. John has a PhD in literature from RHUL and BA and MA from the University of Wales. He is currently the Editor-in-Chief of the online peer-reviewed journal 'The Victorian'.
